2013 Reflection

This year I have been doing lots of blog commenting. I go on to sites like Maths whizz, Xtramaths, Blogs, Google Drive, Class Site and our groups Literacy and Maths Groups. Our class can use webcam toy to take photos when it is free time. Thats not it there loads more fun that we can do on our netbook. We also do test on eAsttle. Xtramath is a learning tool that we use to do maths like times, plus, subtraction and division.

Camp Bentzon

Kawua Island.

Next week there is going to be a year six camp at Kawua Island. It is going to be amazing. My favourite part that is coming up is sleeping in the cabins with my friends. I am looking forward to going camp because I have never been on a island for camp before only at school. Some of the activities are kayak, swimming, Burma trial, sports, adventure playground. The camp is at Kawua island.

Trick or Treating

Going Trick or Treating was fun. I went with all my cousins and aunty's. The first house we went to was this old lady's house and she gave my cousins and I lollies, My cousin Donte was busting to go toilet so the lady let him use the toilet so then Donte went. When he came out he said that the toilet had diamonds in it and I said I don't wanna know about toilets. So then we went off trick or treating. We got lot and lots of lollies and my favourite lollie was the lollipops. At the end of the day we were ready to go home but we wanted to stay and have more fun. It was my cousins first time and he thought it was great. Then off we went trick or treating. Then it got to 8:00 and we had to go home so then we went home. When I got home I had a shower because when I was drinking my drink I spelt it in my hair and all over my clothes. So then I had a little bit of lollies AND THEN I WENT TO BED.

The twin sisters

There once lived a little girl and her twin sister there names were Emma and Violite, they both lived on a farm all alone. They liked working together because they had a lot of fun times. There favourite part of farming was milking cows and feeding horses from the grass bucket. They loved cooking but they didint like hurting animals. When the shear the sheep they always sort the good wool from the dirty and stained wool, When they are done they nit the wool and make warm clothes. When they finish they have a warm glass of milk and go back to nitting.

One day well Violite was hanging out the washing she saw a little girl walking into the barn. She went to go see who it was and there it was the little girl whispering to her self. Then Violite called Emma, Emma said"yes what is it" and Violte replied I saw a little girl whispering to her self" Emma said" dont be silly you are acting crazy". Then emma wen't back inside. The next day Violite heard someone whispering behind her then Violite turned around with fear but no one was there. So she ran off crying home then she yelled"Emma Emma Emma" But no one was there. Emma was down at the town shop lokking for some cups to go with there milk.

Then she noticed that the little girl was following her. She was too scared to talk to the little girl. Then Violite stood up and said what do you want from me and the little girl just whisperd very fast and then Violite turned around and she was gone. She new there was a problem becuase she had rememberd that someone died in that house. So she didint want to disturb the little girl. Emma came back from the shop and said" I brought some glass cups"and Violite replied"ok but there are strange things going on in this house i cant live on this farm any more". Emma said" no we have to live here this is where we live now"."ok said Violite".

Then Violite ignored the little girl and she never got botherd again. So Emma and Violite had a great life living together they even made there own shop. Lots of town peoeple brought some of there stuff and they became rich and brought a diffrent house but they would always visit there old farm. So every time they visited the farm they would always feed the animals because no one lived there. Then they saw the little girl again but they just ignored her. Then they called a priest because she was bothering the animals. The priest finally arrived and blessed the house. After he blessed the house they never saw the little girl again and they did not here anymore whispers behind them.

Rousie

Rousie's dad brought a mob of sheep down for the October shearing. They use zhivago. Dads old horse and the dogs. They got great dogs. The huntaways get in behind. They have to put the sheep in the shed for the night. And there are still morning jobs to do. Dogs to be fed and lambie too. Then it's down to the shed. She will be working as a rousie all day. That means taking the shorn fleeces from the stand and keeping the the pens full of sheep for the shearers. And sort the good wool from the dirty or stained wool.

A little girl named Talia

Once there lived a little girl named Talia she was walking to school and she saw a girl looking at her. She got worried and ran home. So that one night she looked out her window because she heard a noise, and when she looked out the window she saw the same girl staring at her.

She was calling her name, Talia Talia come down here. Then she said dad? but then she knew it was a trick because her mum was dead from fighting in the war. Then she called her dad and then her dad came  and said what is it, Talia she said its a women she looked like mum. Dad said "don't be silly. Talia cried “ i'm not”. Then the next day she went to the park but she did not see him ever again but he was still following her.

Candy land.

There once lived four quads named Jessie, Jasmine, Jack and Jacob. They loved sticking up for each other even if they were endangered. One Day they were of to candyland the theme park. So off they started walking. When they all got there they were so amazed. The first ride they went on was the candy rollercoaster it was made out of lollipops and chocolate. Then when they were riding it they all got stuck because the rollercoaster was broken.

Then Jessie started a combustion and said, “ what are we going to do I don’t want to be stuck up here my whole life” Then Jacob replied, “ I don’t know sis lets ask the others and see what they say”. “ don’t ask me cried Jasmine” Then Jack replied “ I can get us out of this just eat the rollercoaster till we get to the ground. “ thats a great idea Jasmine and Jacob replied”. “ I know”. So they started eating.

They finally got to the bottom and were happy and safe. They all hugged each other and went on different rides. They were having so much fun going on the rides. Then they saw the candy land lollipop man wearing his lollipop costume. They were so excited. They even saw the frost princes, the candy king and the peppermint butler.

Then there day was finished and they had to go home. They had a very fun day and enjoyed the rides. The end :)

Nikki and Keis are farmers.

There once lived two men named Nikki and Keis they both lived on a farm with other villagers. Nikki stalked people who went through his field and Keis was crazy. One day Keis was walking through the field and saw Nikki stalking him and Keis said “ Hi my name is Keis I have realized that you have been stalking me” Then Nikki replied “ I have realized that you are crazy”, Keis said “ I'm a farmer and I have no friends because i'm crazy” Nikki was so excited because Nikki is a farmer to. Nikki went up to keis and said “ Lets farm for our village” Then Keis said “ Ok”, So Nikki went up to Keis and they both shook hands. They started farming for their village and people were happy.

They picked corn, rice, milked cows for milk, bread and meat. Then the village adored them to be the king but only one person could be the king, so Keis got jealous of Nikki and Nikki got jealous of Keis and they both had a fight, then the fight began. Nikki took her first punch and Keis took her first punch. Nikki got really angry and said “ I'M NOT YOUR FRIEND KEIS” Then keis said “ ME TOO”. So no one became the king of their village. Then after 3 months Keis knocked on Nikkis door and said “ sorry” then Nikki replied “ im sorry too” and they both became friends again.

They both were kings in their own way. Keis was the king for poor people and Nikki was the king for rich people. Keis helped the poor people become rich. Nikki mad her rich people stalk the poor people. Nikki liked Farming for her village because she likes putting a smile on peoples faces. One day keis turned evil and threw or the meat, bread, milk and animals into the creek. Nikki ran up to her and assumed

don’t do it keis and keis remain calm and farmed again. Then they died at old age.

My Day At The Beach

In the weekend I went to the Eastern beach with my mum, my 5 cousins, my aunty and my baby brother. My cousin Joey and Manual had a swim with me next to the cave and then we got up because we saw these big rocks. We tipped the rocks over and we found lots of crabs and a starfish, the starfish was red and it was shaped like a star and not the circle ones. When we jumped on the rocks we found clay on the sand and threw it at the cliff, When it smashed it made a firework sound and when it smashed it looked like a firework. Then we went to go eat. After we ate we went back tot the rocks but we couldn't find the place we were just at. Then I was swimming in the water and I found a jellyfish, I got scared so I hopped out of the water for a little bit then it was gone. I saw these two ducks in the water with their babies, Then I started to chase the babies because I wanted to pick one up but it was too hard. I got scared because one of the ducks were trying to attack me because I was chasing their babies. Then we finally went home, because we were all tired.

Cool bun ingredients.

1. First you have to sifted the flour into the bowl.

2. you have to put butter into your bowl and mix it up with your fingers until it looks like bread crumbs.

3. Then you get sifted baking powder into your bowl and mix it up.

4. You put sugar into your bowl.

5. Then you put a pinch of salt into your bowl,

6. Then you crack a egg and put it into your bowl.

7. Then you put milk and vanilla flavouring into your bowl.

8. Then you sprinkle sugar on top and then you put it into the oven for 10 mins on 200 degrees.

Farming Fishing

There’s a boy named Richard and he lives in a village called Togori on the island of Makira in the Solomon island. In his village fish is very important to them. If the weather bad or the sea is rough they often have to do without fish. In his village they don’t my much of their food from shops, they grow, collect, harvest and catch most of their food.

Richard has an uncle named Isaiah and he is the big man or chief of the village. His Idea was to build pons for the fish to grown in. Most of the work had to be done in the early morning or evening because it is very hot there in the middle of the day. Three years after the first fish were put in the ponds, they were ready to be caught and eaten.

This morning my reading group Moa's were matching pictures that have to do with farms. We did things like matching the titles with the picture or picture to picture. There here things like harvesting and farm animals. It was fun but we were too noisy we took some pictures to do with our work. My holidays

In the holidays I was watching history channel, I was watching a program but I forgot what it was called. It was about a bermuda triangle, the triangle is near Florida, Bahamas and Puerto Rico. It is in the sky but you cannot see it. Some boats and planes have been missing because of the Bermuda triangle, It sucks up planes in the sky and boats from the ocean or sea, The Bermuda triangle takes them to the bottom of the sea. The Bermuda triangle can make lots of storms and can also bring dark clouds.

In the holidays I went to the pools with my cousins and friends, it was fun because my cousin Joey and our friends Michael and Jackson were playing with a ball. The game was like touch but in the water so we called it water touch. So I was on my cousins side and we have to try beat the boys we won the game because the boys went easy on us because my cousin is 12 and I am 11 and the boys are 15 or 16. We had lots of fun playing then after a while we got bored. Then we had to go home and have lunch but I was not hungry only tired because the pools were nice and warm.

New Baby Brother

This is my new baby brother Cassius and he is 3 days old I he was born on Friday morning at 6 o'clock. Here is a photo of Cassius.

Chipmunks

On Sunday I went to chipmunks with my mum, my little brother and my two friends Nikki and Lee. It was fun going on the bouncy castles because I kept on rolling down on my back. Then Nikki and Lee started to have a race with me on the other playground but I lost Because I cheated. Then we went onto the other bouncy castle and we had a race but it was too hard for me. So we went into the ball pit to play with my baby brother then we got in trouble because it was only for 3 year and under. My brother was allowed in it but me Nikki and lee was not.

Then it was the end of the day so we went home and it was very fun, we stayed there for 4 hours and the chipmunks we went to was mount roskiel.

My birthday at spookers

It was my birthday at spookers and to me it was the best day ever but I was scared and so was Nikki. Then the lady that was taking us on the tour and she was so loud. The funniest thing about her was that she locked my cousin Manuel into the closet and she said that narnia was in there then we were about to walk off but we did not. When it was time for my cake the man was holing it and he was all burnt but it was just fake. I was crying and so did Nikki we got so embarrassed. But we had a fun time

The hare and the tortoise.

The place was set in a fields and full of grass everywhere.

The problem was that the old tortoise was called names that weren't nice from the fast hare.

The solution was that the tortoise was nearly to the finish line and won the gold medal.

The moral of the story was that don't show of when you are fast because some people that are slow can be faster in a race.

My favourite part of the story was when the tortoise won the gold medal.

Getting a job a spookers

Once there was a day when I was going for a drive to spookers with my best friend Nikki. We were both hoping to get a job there. So we went to the boss called Freddy Krueger. He said to us if you want to get a job you have to show me how scary you are.

So we did. Then we showed him that we are so scary even scarier then pin head and chucky. Then we tried scaring them and we did. We scared them so hard that they had a heart attack.

So that's there job taken and we got picked for the job because there were two empty spots for us to fit right in. We were so famous at spookers because we were the scariest. Then something changed inside of us we started turning evil and bad.

We felt really guilty of killing all those people and making them faint. So we wanted to quit but we couldn't because Freddy Krueger said no if you leave I will torture you forever and you will become my slaves. And we said to him back off you lazy old cow.

Then he said to us you are going to stay with me and get torched and you are going to be my slaves he said saying out loud. So get back to work he shouted again. So we got back to work and made more people die.

Nikki was crying and I was laughing because I liked watching people suffer. I was laughing hard out and she was still crying. I slapped her face and I said to her snap out of it. And she said no It is very sad I want to quit but the ugly boss said no.

I know what to do said Nikki and I said what. She said we can put a curse on him and for us to go in his dream. so we did  and we gave him a heart attack and we were free. Then we drove home and had a Milo with some cookies and we stayed free forever.

The rich duckling’s.

There once lived a rich family in a very rich mansion. There was a mum named Jennifer and she was a duck and her six children were ducklings. Their names were Francis, Iisa, Nikki, Lee, Keis and Christian. They were a very happy family but one of the ducklings came out wrong and that duckling was Lee and he was teased by his brothers and sisters because he was ugly. Every day and night his sisters and brothers will say ha ha you are ugly and he would cry and cry like a cry baby. So he ran far far away from his house.

Then he stopped to find some shouter and he found a farm with lots of other animals that were ugly . So he slept in the barn. He woke up early in the morning and all the animals were looking at him and they said you are ugly like us and he started laughing HAHAHAHAHA “ No i'm handsome you're the one whose ugly He replied”. All the animals said where did you come from and Lee said I have come from a rich place, a rich place what a thing what is a rich place they shouted.

You don’t know what a rich place is laughed Lee. A rich place is where you get anything you want do you want to come over to my house and I will show you what it is like. So they started marching away and singing. They finally got home and they were so excited. All the animals said what a big house, And Lee said I know but do you want to live with me. Yes please said all the animals in a happy voice. The mother duck came and said I was worried about you where were you I missed you so much and your brothers and sisters said sorry. “ thats OK mum I got people thats like me whose gonna stay with us forever.

Dancing and teaching

In the weekend I slept over my cousins house to teach them my Hawaiian dance from Fia Fia.
Then my aunty and my cousins started to follow each step of what we had to do.

It was fun dancing and teaching because after a while my aunty and her children learnt how to do it.
Then they knew how to do it now I just have to teach my mum.
Then on Sunday we started making the costumes and the costumes were green and purple.

Then we had to sing a cook island song, a haka, and more singing and a cook island dance.
We had to do this because we are practising for my uncles birthday and we are doing lots of dancing and singing.

Jumpy and Rocky The Rabbit and the Tortoise.

Hi my name is rocky the tortoise and let me tell you a little story about my self. The story is about when I won the race against the fastest rabbit in the world.

I think I am going to lose the race thinking in my mind said the very slow tortoise. I think I am going to lose because I am a very old tortoise and very slow. I wish I had long legs like jumpy the rabbit. I just look like a cabbage head with brussel sprout legs. Thats what jumpy called me. And he said I look like a rock but even slower than a rock, rocks can’t move there not alive saying out loud to myself.

Jumpy and I had a race that had to go up and down two hills. He was on the second hill when we just started and I was only half way up the 1st hill. Then this was my chance when he fell asleep and I was next to the finish line. And Then I was almost there but jumpy was chasing me but I don't think I will make it because he is fast and I am old and wrinkly. I made it for the first time. Then it was my moment to show of my gold medal.

“Haha jumpy I got the gold medal” “but how can this be i’m fast” So jumpy cried and cried and never stopped. Then I became famous and jumpy had to work for me.

spookers

It was my birthday on Thursday and we had party at spookers. I couldn't wait to get there and I was so excited. I invited friends like Nikki, lee, my cousins and my brothers. When I got there I saw the building and I got a little scared because it was haunted.

When we got there we went inside and started looking at the props then this lady came out of the door and gave us a fright then me and Nikki ran outside screaming. Then we were to scared to go back inside. So we went inside and we our tags got a photo and went into the haunted house.

First we went into the drum room and my cousin joey got scared because it looked like the butler was going to push it onto my cousin but she did not. There were lots of rooms like the butcher room. Eww that was sick like hanging bodies. Then there was the witch room and she was ugly when she was rocking on the chair.

And she gave me a fake bruise with make up and it looked real. The my favourite part was disturbia. It was 3D and I kept on walking into the walls. And there was a flashing room and it looked like it was slow motion.

Then we had lunch and cake and presents. And I got a present from spookers it was a teddy bear in a skeleton costume and a injection pen.

BDAY

IT IS MY BIRTHDAY TODAY AND I AM 11. MY MUM AND I HAVE CHANGED THE PLANS FOR TOMORROW WE ARE GOING SPOKERS INSTEAD OF BIG UPS.

Big Ups

Hello my name is Christian and it is my birthday on Wednesday 24 of July. The place that we are going to is big ups. I think I am going to have lots of fun with my friends and cousins. The place is inflatable like balloons, balloons are inflatable. The first thing I am going to do when I get there is sticking on the walls with the Velcro suits.

The man eating dogrilla

Title: Something brushed up against my foot and my surprise turned to horror as I looked down and saw a man eating gorilla.

It was a beautiful day with the sun shining and it was a good day to go for a sunny walk. I was walking on the side walk with happiness hoping it would stay sunny.

As I was walking home my surprise

turned to horror when I heard someone screaming . I was running home with fear thinking in my head who is out there. I got home and watched the news I saw on the news a man eating half gorilla and half dog. I got really scared hoping it wouldn't come to me. I went outside and the screaming stopped. I went outside to see if everyone was alright then something brushed up against my foot was a man eating half gorilla and half dog I was running with fear and screaming Ahhhhhhhhhhh.

The animals name was called the man eating dogrilla, It started chasing me and followed me all around the street trying to eat me but I found a dark place where no one can see me not even the dogrilla. But he can smell people by their fear. So I had a terrible fear that will attract him. I was crying and screaming then the dogrilla chased me again and then I stop to face my fear and it came to me opening it’s mouth ready to eat me.

So I went up to the dogrilla and started smacking it buns with the other dogrillas watching me . They looked at me and I was like do you wanna piece of me and they or ran away  crying and then I found the people locked in a cave so I had a key that can open anything and then I saved the street.
